My mom was diagnosed with cancer and she's undergoing treatment which as most of you can guess is a massive strain. Someone mentioned reflexology as an option to ease the symptoms so I wanted to get some more information about this. Is it something I can do myself, or will I need to bring in an expert?

yeah, reflexology for your mom's symptoms is a fantastic idea. It can really help with relaxation and easing some discomfort.
You absolutely can learn some simple reflexology or foot/hand massage techniques to do at home, it's a beautiful way to offer direct comfort.
However, if you're aiming for therapeutic benefits or want to address specific symptoms, bringing in a certified reflexologist is usually the best route

I'm really sorry you're going through this, it's incredibly tough. Reflexology can be a gentle, supportive therapy that may help with relaxation and stress. Some techniques are DIY-friendly, but a certified practitioner might offer deeper benefits.

There are plenty of diagrams and beginner tutorials online but if she's really fatigued or has sensitive areas, neuropathy is common during treatment, a trained reflexologist familiar with oncology cases might be the better route.

Reflexology can help with relaxation and easing stress, but it won't treat the cancer itself. You can try some basic techniques at home like gentle pressure on the feet or hands but a certified reflexologist will know safer and more effective ways to target symptoms without causing discomfort
