Has anyone worked with clients right after ketamine therapy? I have a client wanting a massage post-infusion based on clinic advice, but I'm new to this and would appreciate any insights or experiences

@Chumm
you should be to focus heavily on the client's immediate well being and communication. Ketamine therapy can leave people feeling disoriented or emotionally raw afterward.

maybe adapt the massage, like adapt your pressure and technique significantly. A very light, calming, and grounding massage might be more appropriate than deep tissue

How soon after the ketamine infusion is your client looking to get the massage? Timing could make a big difference in how they respond.

Thanks for the advice,I'll prioritize communication and keep the massage light and calming. Sounds like a gentle, grounding approach is the way to go for post-ketamine care

They're aiming for the same day, right after the infusion. I'm thinking I'll keep it very gentle and monitor how they're feeling throughout, I appreciate the timing tip
