How much should I charge?

I've got this opportunity to fly out and work on a player from the NBA. As a fan, believe me when I say I tried to contain my excitement when I got the news!
anyway, travel and hotel are covered, so I'm wondering what's a good day rate to charge for this kind of gig? All advice on pricing is super welcome! Thanks!

I was a bit taken aback that there wasn't any base pay mentioned, since that's usually included before the tips. And you're absolutely right, working on someone of that size would be quite a task if it's a real deep tissue session. For professional athletes, the rates typically start at $250 per hour just for muscle relaxation, and it can go up to $300 for pain relief.

Quick question, when you're working with pro clients like that, do you charge by the hour, or do you have specific rates for different services? I'm just curious about how you manage that

That's awesome congrats! so for NBA-level work with travel covered, rates usually start around $1,000 to $2,500 per day, depending on experience and services provided

I think 1,500 is a good rate. Don't overprice so you can still be rehired. But maaaan, that's soooo cool!!!
